Quick Recap of November

Evan and I had a stay at home date.  All the kids were are waiters/chefs for dessert and then we all had a dance party.  Sophia wanted me to look beautiful and made me this shell necklace and then one for her as well.  What a sweetheart!
Spencer is our little entrepreneur.  He has accumulated a bunch of little trinkets over the years and decided to open up a store in our basement to sell off his unused stuff and earn a little money.  He put price tags under everything (the prices are all under a nickel) and then waited for customers.

Apparently he was concerned there might be customers during his school hours because he "hired" Sophia to man the store while he was gone.  Here he is bright and early ready for business and showing Sophia the ropes.  Most of his business comes from our family but he has sold a few things to friends and Grandma and Grandpa Stephens.  Can't wait to see what the future holds for this little man!
We got about 6 inches of snow and decided to build and play when dad got home.  I love having such a large back yard now so when it snows we can do so much more then we could before without running out of snow, cause we do a lot!
We have a huge park by our house where they run the "Turkey Trot" every Thanksgiving.  This was our first time going to it.  Spencer, Sophia, and I ran while Rhys and Evan watched and Chris stayed home since he didn't want to come for some reason.  Spencer got 3rd place for the under 8 division.
I ran with Sophia the whole way.  She needed a lot of encouragement but never stopped.  Not sure what place Sophia took in her age group but I know she was up there.  She ran 3/4 of a mile in 8:12 which is awesome.  So proud of my kids for doing hard things!
After the Turkey Trot we went to Grandma and Grandpa Stephens' for Thanksgiving dinner.  It was the kids job to set the table.  They did a great job.
Rhys got a little bored while he waited so decided to play in his water cup.
Chris decided to take his love of architecture to a new media, mashed potatoes and wheat thins.  He made this lovely house complete with a parsley tree in our mashed potatoes.

We have so much to be thankful for this year.  We have truly been blessed!
