Our poor deprived boys do not own a bug box, apparently we need to try and find one next summer. This doesn't deter them from catching bugs and making them homes using whatever they can find around the house, like a kleenex box. Last Saturday they found a "daddy" rolly polly (meaning a big one) and made this house for him. They were out there most of the morning playing with it. We were able to convince them eventually to let him go back home to his family who would be missing him. This week they also caught a grasshopper and put him in a recently emptied cereal box. I was able to free him too though he was a little dazed at first by the light and the fact that Chris had turned the box upside down over and over. The grasshopper just sat in the grass until it finally got its bearings and being a smart bug got out of there fast!

This is great! Just last July we went camping with Mike and Laurel and their kids. The entire camping trip Ali and Jaden were doing the same exact thing, catching bugs making them little houses out of odds and ends, it was so cute. it must be something about the age. Your boys (and of course Sophia) are so cute! We wish we could spend more time with you all!
