We had quite the 4th of July weekend! My family came to town for Rhys' blessing but came earlier for Chris' graduation (the next post) so we also got to celebrate the 4th with them this year. My dad really likes fireworks so he bought the kids a bunch. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate very well so we couldn't do as many as we would have liked to. We'll have to wait until the 24th of July. The kids liked the fireworks but were not so sure about the sparklers.
We of course had a large family gathering after Rhys' blessing at our home. Yummy breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls, and fruit. We are so blessed to have so many people that love our family. We are so grateful we have Rhys as a part of our family. The most exciting thing that happened over the weekend is that Evan's sister Brittney had her first baby, Truitt, on the 4th of July so now my kids have their first cousin. We are glad Rhys will have someone to play with =)
